“Double Header Weekend”. The Jim Strain Memorial Shield and 2017 NI Grand Prix
Next Race Meeting is a “Double Header Weekend” with the Jim Strain Memorial Shield on Saturday 2nd September. Jim was one of the founding members of the club who sadly passed away a few years ago. As a mark of respect the club run this special race in his honour.
Sunday 3rd September sees the running of the 2017, Northern Ireland Grand Prix.
Both days promise to see the Top 1/5th Scale Touring Cars, 4 Wheel Drive Mini’s and 1/5th Scale Bikes racers in the country battling it out for the Silverware
The Ulster Grand Prix Demonstration day…….
The Club was invited to take part in the 2017 UGP Bike Race activities and were given the newly surfaced car park behind the Hospitallity Unit. It was a fantastic opportunity to promote our 1/5th Scale Racing on both 2 and 4 wheels and the crowds that spectated were treated to some ” interesting” racing on the damp and slippery Tarmac.
The Bikes had a lot of interest, especially from some of the Top Road Racers who were competing in the Fastest Road Race and in the World.

THE ULSTER TT….5th and 6th August….
The first of our Trophy Races, The ULSTER TT, have drivers and “riders” from across the Irish Sea competing against the best from these shores on the Weekend of 5th and 6th August.

Round 5 of our Championship on 1st July with Heats off at 10.30.
Following our successful “Open Day” we could have some new members on the grids.
Round 4 of the 2017 Championship 3rd June
Following the excitement of the BRCA Rounds we are back to Racing the 2017 Championship with the Bikes, Saloons, Mini’s and Hooligans.
